Jade Belt Butterfly Specimen
Jade banded swallowtail butterfly is an insect belonging to the family Papilionidae in the order Lepidoptera, also known as white banded swallowtail butterfly, black swallowtail butterfly, striped swallowtail butterfly, and Liangshanbo swallowtail butterfly. There are seven large yellow white spots arranged in bands on the outer edge of the male butterfly's forewings and in the center of its hindwings. Mature larvae are dark green in color, with a yellow brown head and a black linear stripe with teeth on the anterior edge of the thorax. There are black eye spots on both sides, and wide diagonal stripes on both sides of the abdomen.
